We are just starting the adoption process here in Florida. I read that the financil requirement was 125% over poverty level. With one child we make it if they count before the adoption if they count after the adoption then....
Does anyone know when they look at your financial ability?

I did what I should have done to begin with. I called the Florida Adoption Information Center and asked them. For those who wondered the same thing. The answer is there is no income requirement at least when adopting through the state as most of the children "in the system" are special needs for whatever reason so there would be an assistance check each month to help care for them anyway.
