iso son born in TX adopted by LA family

My son was born in Texas, but adopted by a LA family. The attorney that handled the adoption was also here, in Texas, but is no longer in business. I have a full adopted name, including last name. I know his adopted mom was/is a school teacher, so I went to LA BOEd website to get a list of teachers with matching last name. I have three names of possible adopted mom's names to go on. But I have hit a road block. Please let me know if any of you can help me further. I DO NOT want to interrupt his/their lives. However, I was very young when this happened, I was pressured, and I changed my mind... but I was told it was too late.

I want to make myself and information available to him, should he choose to find me. What I dont want is to lose track of him.

I just sent you an email, but wanted to post here just incase you don't recieve it.

Since your son was born in Texas he will be in the Texas Birth Index under his adopted name. I can look it up for you. I just need his DOB and the county he was born in.
