LSS headquaarters is in Milwaukee. They have an adoption/search dept. They are now located on the south side. you can see the building from the freeway.

I was born in La Crosse 11/06/1965 and adopted through LSS also. so far haven't found much. LSS tells me you have to go through the Wisconsin search program, $25 fee for application, and $75 an hour for search

Hi i am new to this website, and out of the loop of serching for my birth family. i see that there are quite a few of us looking in the la crosse area, do any of you have some words of wisdom on where to get started. i also checked out the WI search program that Dennis mentioned, but found it to be pricer than what he said. any search suggestions that won't break my bank account?
