I just learned I have an adopted brother. I believe he was born in one of the hospitals in the tidewater area of Virginia which could include Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, or Va. Beach. The only information I have is my mother's name. I was born in 1974, so this birth would have occured in the late 60's or early 70's.

Do you know anything about the family that adopted your brother? Do you know the State that the adoption was finalized? Did your Mother attend college?

My husband and his twin brother were born 8-19-1967 at Portsmouth Virginia Hospital. Please just let me know that you have received this email. Also, they had an older brother, not a biological brother that was adopted as well he was born on 3-21-1965. IF you have anything that could help us we would love it. Thanks for your efforts to search for your brother--hang in there he's out there. GOD BLESS.

I was born February 1969. My mom was from Virginia and 18 @ the time. She was 5'11" w/ brown hair and hazel eyes. Does this sound familiar?

I have no idea what my husband's birthmother looks like. The non-indentifying information in my husband's file was destroyed in the 1970's. All the info we have is the twin boys were born 8-19-1967 at Portsmouth Va at about 5:30am. If you have any questions or have any insight I would be more than happy to help you.
