I saw your profile birthdate and it does not match the birthdate of the birthmother I am looking for.

I am sorry to say that Oklahoma does not have a birth index like Texas has. Wish they did. The best thing we can hope for is to get an open records bill through the state legislature, which would allow adult adoptees to access their original birth certificates. It's long past due. Five other states have open records: Alaska, Alabama, Oregon, Kansas and New Hampshire. We'd like for Oklahoma to be #6.
