searching for birth mom/born jan 1967

I am searching for any member of my birth family. I am female, born January 1967 in Lynchburg, VA. I was adopted through Children's Home Society in Roanoke, VA.

I have been blessed to have been raised by a wonderful adoptive family. I just want to know if I have any birth family out there. If you have any information, please contact me!

Have you tried going to the Children's Home Society to get information?

Yes, I received non-identifying info from them years ago. Unfortunately after several moves I seemed to have misplaced it. I am now considering paying the fee to have a search done. It's my understanding that in VA I can have a search done and if my birth mom wants to make contact then it will be arranged. I just thought I would start posting on various message boards just in case someone was already looking. :)
