Being born and raised in Vegas, here is some info that may help you out. If he worked in the casino, in any capacity, he would have needed a "SHERIFF'S CARD". They have 2 types, GAMING AND NON-GAMING. This type of information, is a matter of Public Record. I am sure that you would need to pay a small fee to see the records from back then, however I am sure it is a small price to pay in the search. Contact the Sheriffs Dept. or Public Records Clerk. Good luck!

Thanks Julie.
What if I do not know his name? All I know is the non id stuff. Can I still do this and what would I say?
I'm in Texas so if there is a certain place I would send a letter and you know how/where could you please let me know?
I'm not sure he even knows about me as my bmom was there for a short time from Ohio.

Another question for those in or new Vegas.
I want to look through legals. My mom was in Ohio and I'm pretty sure she would have had to put one in the Las Vegas paper. Maybe this can give me my birth fathers name.
Does anyone have contact information for the "main" libruary in Las Vegas? Do you know what paper the legals would have been in back in 1972?
Thanks for any help!

Well this is really a bit depressing.
This is the month that my mom would have met my birth father. She took off from Ohio and met him in Las Vegas.
He was a Keno writer.
He was divorced.
He was born in Boston.
He may have been part if not full Italian.
Today I am running out of hope.
Please someone, anyone, help me find my missing link.
