Looking for niece born in 1974

I am helping my sister search for her daughter. She was born in Maine and then brought to Connecticut for adoption (this is what my sister was told). It's a possibility that the birthdate was changed and the location of birth which was in Maine. The information that I do have is that her given name at birth was Angela Marie and that she was born on 8/25/74. My sister's name is Kathy Gallant and she ended up marrying the father and having 3 more children so wherever my niece is she has 2 sisters, a brother, a niece and nephew and a biological mother and father who have been married for 27 years!
