Let us introduce ourselves

We love to have fun and uplift one another.

We're so happy you're here! We'd love to start out by telling you about us.

We've been married for about 13 years now. We love each other, our family, and our friends. We’ve worked hard to create a strong marriage with open communication and mutual respect.

Austin is a fish out of water. He used to be a competitive swimmer - and still does his best to be in the pool or at the lake all summer long. He spent two years serving and LDS mission in West Africa and would love to visit the area again. Austin is the chef in our family. His homemade specialties are biscuits and gravy, creamy Cajun pasta, and just about any meat in the smoker. Austin loves working in the solar industry.

He is currently helping to start his employer’s brand new solar division.

Molly has a creative mind. She loves to create, organize, and design. She loves people and children. She spent time nannying for several years. About eight years ago now, she became a full-time stay-at-home mom. Now she spends time volunteering at the elementary school and serves as secretary on the parent-teacher organization board.

As a family, we love to read, cook, garden, travel, and work on projects. In the past, we've built our own house (with our own hands!), spent 6 months living in a camper and travelling from state to state, worked on all kinds of home projects, and most recently, we've been building a murphy bed in our spare bedroom.

Right now, our family is made up of five of us - Austin and Molly, our seven-year-old daughter, and two dogs.

Our daughter has the sweetest soul, a great sense of humor, and limitless imagination. We love watching her learn, try new things, and get outside her comfort zone. It's so rewarding to see her do hard things and gain pride and confidence in herself. We're hoping her next big life milestone is becoming a big sister!

Our dogs are named Doug, a 10 year-old mini schnauzer/jack russell mix, and Rosie, a 1 year-old mini schnauzer/cavalier king charles mix. They're both so sweet and their personalities keep us entertained. We love our little tail-wagging pals.

We love to laugh together. Happiness is important in our house and it seems to flow naturally. We love to have fun and uplift one another. Family means the world to us. We cannot wait to grow our family and welcome a new addition.

Dear expectant parent,

We respect the decisions you have in front of you. We are praying for you and hope you find comfort and peace in what you decide.

You mean so much to us.
Let us start off by saying how amazed we are by you - even just for being here! Placing a child for adoption must be one of the most selfless acts ever. We really appreciate you visiting our profile and reading this letter.

Its important to us that you know just how incredible you are. We would love to meet you, get to know you, and love you. We respect the decisions you have in front of you. We are praying for you and hope you find comfort and peace in what you decide.

As a couple, we have been talking about children and what our family might be like since before we were married. Adoption has already made our lives more incredible than we ever could have dreamed. We are so excited for another little one in our hearts and our home.

We're very comfortable with the idea of an open adoption. In our minds, the more love and support in a child's life, the better. We would respect your decisions and work together to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Because of family, we never have to face trials alone. Our family provides unconditional love and support. Family relationships are so sacred and essential to us. By placing with us, you would become family. We would be over the moon to love and support you.

We have loved our time as a family of three and also cannot wait for the day our family grows. We look forward to the chance to build relationship with you and have you in our life.

Thanks again for your time. You mean so much to us.

The beach! Relaxing in the sunshine or playing in the water - either way, we love going to the coast together.
We love doing family costumes for Halloween! Last year, we dressed up as Dalmatians and Cruella. But since Austin was the one dressed as Cruella, we thought it was funny to call him Cruello instead.
We’ve had a lot of fun visiting museums - most recently, this marine research center on the Pacific coast!
The zoo is one of our favorite places! We love being outside, checking out the animals, and learning about animal conservation.
We spend almost every day at the pool all summer long! Our neighborhood has both indoor and outdoor pools - which means we can still swim when it’s cold outside!
We have a favorite Mexican restaurant- and whether it’s crowded or not, they almost always seat us at the same table! We laugh about it every time it happens.
Our pups! They’re always ready for a snuggle.
Disneyland! This photo was from our trip in Spring 2021. We were so excited to be back after the park being closed for so long!
We love watching Formula 1 races together. We all have different favorite teams - but, it's always friendly competition!

Paige Fotheringham (Sister)

I am so excited to recommend Molly & Austin as adoptive parents and continue to grow their family! We love having them and their sweet daughter in our family. Nothing would make me happier than to see another baby placed in their home. Molly & Austin are fun, loving parents who prioritize what is best for their family in all aspects of their life. They are adventurous, responsible and have beliefs and standards that make their home a welcoming place. While parenting has its fun parts, Molly & Austin are also good at the hard parts. I have seen them celebrate their daughter in areas she excels, as well as support and find resources to help her in areas that haven't come as easily to her. They have a wonderful balance in their home of consistency and love. They have such a positive outlook on life, and know the timing and circumstance will come that will help them add more children to their home.

Molly’s Mom

Molly and Austin make everything fun. They are hard workers, full of faith and have made a beautiful life for their family. Austin is a kind, patient, hard working man of integrity. He is a favorite with the nieces and nephews because he’s willing to join in their shenanigans. And a favorite with the rest of us because he’s such a good cook. Molly is a talented singer, and makes their home a fun and happy place. She bakes and decorates amazing cookies, and is creative when it comes to kid’s activities. They work together as a team, and the trials they have faced have only made them stronger. They are excited to grow their family, and I could not imagine a more loving couple to trust with a child.

Father

Austin and Molly are the most loving and patient parents to their daughter with their love manifested in so many ways. Their greatest joy comes from spending time with their daughter helping her to learn, create, and experience life. They lovingly provide her with a variety of opportunities to not only express herself but discover who she is without any pressure or expectations. They always remain claim in stressful situations and turn challenges into a learning opportunity. As a family they love to travel, play games, and cook. Oh, and laugh. I can’t forget the laughter and good humor. Austin is an extremely hard worker and excellent provider who is constantly moving upward in his career. He can make friends with anyone and is a favorite uncle in the family. Molly is a loving homemaker who volunteers with the local school, bakes gorgeous cookies and is a favorite aunt in the family. They are always willing to drop whatever they are doing to serve others in the family, church, and neighborhood. The best thing is that their home is always filled with warmth and love for each God, neighbors, and each other. With plenty of love available of another sweet member of their wonderful family.

Molly and Austin are some of the humblest people I know. They are selfless, loving, kind, and patient--the kind of people that will literally give you the shirt off their back. Watching them become parents to their daughter has been one of the sweetest experiences. Molly is playful and upbeat and nurturing. Austin is a giant teddy bear of a dad, always ready to patiently and sweetly respond to any need. Their daughter adores both of them so much. Any child will be richly blessed to call them parents!

Molly has been my best friend/older sister for my whole life - so needless to say, I can vouch for her being incredibly patient, forgiving, and supportive. She's also hilarious and thoughtful, more talented than she knows, and really loving. I mean, I love my own kids, nieces, and nephews, but Molly has that thing I don't where she loves all kids and they love her back. She's just fun, and everyone knows it - adults, too. Austin is the best because he seems to always be up for anything - he's a chill guy, but he's interested in tons of different things and keeps busy with all kinds of projects and hobbies. He also very patiently puts up with Molly and her sisters when we get together and laugh about everything and eat all the good food he makes. He's just a great guy, husband, and dad. Parenthood really does suit Austin and Molly so well. These two love their daughter fiercely, and I can't wait for their family to grow again.

Having known Molly and Austin for four years, I can attest to their exceptional character, unwavering commitment to family, and genuine love for children. Their nurturing nature and ability to connect with children are inspiring. We experienced this firsthand with Molly through our own daughter, Emmy. Emmy was really struggling with feeling comfortable at church and had a hard time attending class with other children her age. Molly was asked to serve as the teacher of her age group and was able to connect with Emmy in a way that dissolved her anxieties. Molly’s warm and caring personality made such a difference for our family as our daughter was finally able to attend class without hesitation or tears for the first time in years. Whether it's through engaging activities, meaningful conversations, or simply providing a safe and loving environment, Molly truly has a natural gift for connecting with young ones. In addition, we have had the chance to enjoy family dinners in the Seawright’s home and have felt the warmth, laughter, and love that is present there. Molly and Austin have such a sweet, respectful and supportive relationship. They have truly cultivated a loving and nurturing home environment, one that you can feel the moment you walk through the door. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Seawrights as prospective adoptive parents. I have every confidence that Molly and Austin will make a positive and lasting impact on the life of any child fortunate enough to join their family. Warm regards, Danielle B.

Austin and Molly are some of the most incredible parents I know. Both of them are extremely kind, humorous, loving, and thoughtful. But maybe most importantly to you, they're also just normal. They like the outdoors and roadtrips, they like dogs and traveling, they like good food, TV shows, and music. They both LOVE to laugh. And most of all, they love each other and their daughter. They're the kinds of people you'd love to have as a neighbor. So while I might be a 32 year old, grown-ass man, if I was to do it all over again, I'd be more than thrilled to have them as parents. I trust any child would feel the same.

4th of July Traditions

We had such a fun (and HOT) July 4th! It always starts with our town parade. They do such a good job with music, amazing floats and decorations, and even water shooters to cool people off. We like to get there an hour early to get good spots. It’s fun to hang out and relax together before all the commotion starts. This year, it was already 90° when the parade started at 9am. Whew! We always bring our red wagon full of camp chairs, drinks, and snacks. But this year, we grabbed umbrellas for shade! We packed home plenty of candy and goodies and ran into a few friends while we were leaving. The middle (and hottest part) of the day was for napping, grilling, and watching The Sandlot. After dinner, we packed up our pool gear and headed out. We spent a couple hours swimming before the fireworks started! We could see so many from the pool - and it was magical! There were only a few other families there with us so it was pretty relaxing. We brought our red, white, and blue glow sticks, which looked so awesome in the water. That was definitely a night to remember. We can’t wait to add another family member to memories like these. We love keeping traditions from year to year - and making new ones! If you or someone you know might be considering placing a child for adoption, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We would love to chat, get to know you, and let you get to know us!

Summertime

We have been making the most of our summer! So far, we’ve had three separate visits from out-of-state family, worked on home projects inside and out, and spent countless hours at the pool! We celebrated Austin’s 36th birthday with presents, yummy food, and checked out a new race car simulator. We sure love that guy! Now we have one trip planned to see family and friends out of town. We’ll have a few more weeks left to fill with summer fun before our girl enters the second grade! If you’re reading this and considering placing your child for adoption (or know someone who may be), we would love to hear from you! The thought of growing our family makes us more excited than any other plans we could ever make.

School Fun Run

We loved the fun run! It wasn’t too hot outside this year, but this cute runner still broke a sweat! It was another fun and successful event at the elementary school. I really love being a part of the school community - especially when I get to spend extra time with my girl! - Molly

Family Walks

Just a brief update :) We like taking family walks along the neighborhood walking path. Today, we stopped to snap a quick photo - Foxy included! It ended up being a longer-than-usual walk at over 2 miles! Not too shabby. The weather is so nice right now. Some days have been hot enough to swim. But for the most part, we’re getting really warm afternoons with cool mornings and evenings. It’s been heavenly!

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a tricky day. I love the idea of Mother's Day! There are so many incredible women and mothers in the world. But as life goes on, our experiences bring new meaning to the day. For years, I thought only about my own mother and grandmothers. When I became an aunt, I realized an entire new generation of mothers in my sisters - and eventually myself. When Austin and I got married, all I wanted was to become a mother. It felt like time crawled by slowly while I dreamt of holding our little one in my arms, singing them to sleep, rocking them slowly. As a nanny, I cared for children for years. I scooped up crying toddlers when they fell down. I sang silly songs and cooled off hot chicken nuggets. I tucked little ones into bed for naptime. I cared for all those sweet kids, hoping one day I could do the same for my own children. We waited years before deciding to adopt. When we entered the world of adoption, my definition of motherhood exploded. I started to redefine what my own motherhood experience would be. And at the same time, I listened to the stories of countless birth mothers making the most selfless decision of their lives. The role of a birth mother is one I wholeheartedly believe to be overlooked. How can we adequately celebrate the women who, while making such an incredibly complex decision, so permanently change the course of another family's life? If I anyone has the answer, please share! All I know is that I wouldn't have the chance to be a mother if it weren't for the gift of adoption. That gift was given to me by another mother and I'm forever grateful for her. I look forward to the day we meet our next child's birth mother. We are thrilled at the thought of not only another child joining out family, but their first mother as well. We're praying for you. To any mothers who are reading this - current mother, future mother, biological, adoptive, bonus mom, and especially all the birth mothers out there - I hope you know how special, loved, and appreciated you are. I truly hope this Mothers Day found you in a place of peace and joy. Every single mother deserves to be wrapped in a blanket of gratitude and love. - Molly
