My mother was 17 and a junior in high school (Mesa High School )when she was sent to Florence C. Home in Phx. She was admitted on 08/09/65 and left for unknown reasons, it says she left willingly,at 36 weeks ,approx 8 months along. Her expected due date was 11/02/65 but may have been sooner. My brother and I were early by an average of 2 months. So that is a possibility. A family was waiting to adopt ASAP they said. Maricopa County Child Welfare handled the adoption arrangements but it may have been changed to Family Services of Arizona at the last minute. Thay lady I spoke to said proably not though. Her name was Luana Dean Boatman. Her DOB was 04-02-48 , I am Rebecca A Misenhelter (Huddleston) and am her youngest daughter. She has A Daughter Wendy, 35 a son Sean 32 and Myself 30.
