Hi, I just joined this site and how exciting to find an LDS adoption forum!
Here is a little about me: My husband and I have been married for 8 1/2 years. We have one daughter who just turned three that we adopted through LDSFS. She is the light of our lives and we can't imagine life with out her. We have email contact through a special site with her birthmother as well as contact through LDSFS. We have a special relationship with her birthmother that we treasure. We want to adopt another but our circumstances currently have been preventing that so we saddly must trust and wait.
We are currently planning our FSA chapters Adoption Conference that is being held in November. I hope it comes together okay, we were only given 5 weeks to plan it:eek:
So that is me!

This LDS forum doesn't get a whole lot of activity, but I really do enjoy these boards has a whole. Very fun and great support system. (Particularly my favorite thread EAT on the main board!)

Glad to have you...we really don't mingle a lot in the LDS section specifically. I hang out on the BTE (Best Thread Ever) also known as "Oh My..."
We are adopting a 3 yo girl .....picking her up next Tuesday!!!
We also keep email contact with Bmom! You know that you don't really have to be careful about saying that anymore, since LDSFS opened up. I guess the pressure from BOTH sides of the triad was so great, that they gave in and now let you do/say whatever/however whenever you want. Face to Face included!!!!
