Suggestions?

HI! I am an adoptive mom, so this forum isn't the one I normally frequent. I am hoping to get some helpful suggestions. My daughter is going to be one on Tuesday. Her birthday party was today. Her bmom & bgrandma were invited, and going to come, but then decided it would be too hard. Her bgrandma said she heard alot of crying the other day. I knew the first birthday would be hard, but now I am so sad that she is sad. I wanted to send roses on Tuesday to where the bmom works, and a packet of pictures from todays party, but I don't want to make the day any worst. Bmom is 19 1/2. Relationship is open, and wonderful!
