You can search the birth index in the county in which your son was born and look for all the amended birth certificates. The amended ones will be missing lots of info that regular birth certificates have on them. Take the names down of all the males. There shouldn't be many......you will then have names to look for. Call the court house and find out where the birth index is in the county of birth and ask what their rules are. Some require an appointment. Good Luck.....Caryn

Did you give your son a middle name? I have found many children retain the first and middle name and a public record search of those two names helps narrow down the results. If you can provide it to me, I may be able to help.
