I am a 19 year old college student who was born in Bozeman, Montana on July 28, 1985. I was put with a foster family for three months before I was placed with my family. I know that my family went through Luthern Social Services of Montana. That is all I really know. I would love to find out more information. If anyone can tell me how to go about that, that would be great!

I would go to the place which handled the adoption for information. I would also register with the ISRR at www.isrr.net .
Post on as many sites as you can find on the net. There are tons out here and some are state specific. When posting, use date of birth, gender, and city and state of birth.
Good luck in your search,
Barbara

Hi, I am new to this; but I would like to know if anyone can tell me if the Crittendon Home for Unwed MOthers is still in Helena, or who would have their records! We are looking for a baby girl who was our niece and her Grandmother wants to find her! We wanted to write to the agency and try to locate the adult woman!
She would be about 33 now! Thank you!

I cannot express to you folk how important 'sites like this really are' to those of us who have lost a love one to an 'adoption' in the present or in the past! For years people grieve the loss of these children like a 'death in the family'! Granted some more than others; but never-the-less 'we grieve'! I will work with my sister in law, I will let this forum know when and if it will be possible for her to be "finally united with her granddaughter" of long ago! Thanks, Prayers and Love to you all!
