boy born 3/8/42 in Kingston New York

I was born in Kingston Hospital Kingston New York on or about 3/8/42. I was adopted by the Snyder family of Saugerties New York and my adoptive father picked me up at the hospital and met my birth mother. Her name may have been Mary Elizabeth Ryan and I am told she was 16 and came from across the Hudson River; possibly the Red Hook or Rinebeck area of upstate New York. My adoptive parents are long gone and if my birth mother is alive she would be about 78. I want nothing from her; I have had a good life but need to find this missing chapter in my life and have some closure. My birth father may have been someone higher up at the factory where my birth mother worked; or so the story goes. Any information would be most welcome. John Snyder
