I can't stop hurting recently over looking for my Mom. I am now 40. I had a horrible childhood and a worse grownup hood. I sometimes feel like I have been tossed aside by bmom and aparents. I literaly cry over this
Shelly Kathleen,
I'm sorry that you're feeling so badly! You may need to get some counseling if you haven't so far or talk to a doctor about some anti-depressants, if you feel like you're slipping deeply into that hole. Medicine can help you so you can get through the talk therapy. You might also benefit from a support group, or having some close friends to share this with.
I suffered from depression for many years and the worst thing for me was to keep it bottled up inside, where it just turned to poison and made me sick. Please find people to talk to so you can get it out. Once you get it out, you can start to heal and feel better.
Hang in there and know there are people here who care!
E.J.
