Single Parent Adoption?

I was wondering if people would adopt to a single father. I've heard a lot of things about that... like not many people would adopt to a single father or any single parent. Because my family is made up of a single father and two children... then there is the nanny. But we do have a STABLE home and there IS room for another child. The criminal checks and all that are perfect... except for a few speeding tickets. We meet requirements (As far as I know) and have adopted 2 other children, so is it true... or is it not. Because this is worrying us. Thank-you a lot.
