You are loved have been loved and will always be loved by your father. You see you are my daughter and you ask why if you loved me so much did you not keep me. Well I loved your birthmother more than anything in the world and I did as she asked.
You console yourself that if she ever wants to know why she can talk to her mother and she will have to explain why she did what she did.
But alas when your only 18 and no one tells you that you have any rights. Yes no one told me in the hospital room the day you were born that I could tell my wife and her parents and her attorneys that you were going home with me. No it was more like we need you to sign these forms you kids are too young to try and stay together and raise this baby girl. I asked her repeatedly is this what you want to do. You see I did not carry you inside me for nine months as she did..
Five years later I was watching on TV the baby Jessica story. where they wanted to take the baby back and this is when I learned that I had rights and I was sick to death for what they had done . Well ask your self to take a five year old away from the adoptive parents and see if you can do that to your daughter or if its fair to her or them or me. Well a lot of years have passed and don't think for even a moment that your father doesnt love you cause I carry the scar from that day in the hospital every day. I would love to hold you and hug you and tell you in person and just maybe someday I can say it to your face Girl you are the one that got a way and Your daddy loves you.
hi. your message was really touching. i was just wondering if you know the date or place your daughter was born.

I agree, post the month/day/year/City/State that your child was born.
May God bless you during this time.
