Well after two years of fostering, our fs is now our ds.

Friday December 16th we completed his adoption, exactly two years to the day of him moving in with us.
He was removed from bio mom at birth
removed from bio dad at 11 months
placed with us at 17 months
May 04 mom signed surrenders
Jan 05 tpr on dad
Feb 05 appeal
Nov 8th, 2005 appeal denied
Dec 16 adoption day

I could not believe how much patience it actually took. It was a long road but it was well worth it.
Every day it sinks in more and more. No more visits from his caseworker, no more calling to verify a doctor appointment, no more asking permission to go on vacation.
