Adopted from Cradle in October 1965

I was born on October 22 1965, in Evanston Illinois. My birth name was "Donald Wertz"?? . I belive my mothers name was Sharon Wertz, and My fathers name was Melvin W. Wertz. My Adopted mother told me that I was only 2 days old when she brought me home, and that I had a large number of brothers and sisters. Every time I brought the subject of my adoption up or asked questions, I was made to feel that somehow I was ungrateful for the home I was given. My adopted parents have both passed away recently, although I loved my adopted parents, I still have questions. My birth parents did not elaborate a whole lot concerning my adoption, sometimes they we're evasive. I do have a copy of my birth certificate though.
