Hi there. We are just starting to look at adoption and are open to adopting a biracial infant. :) My dh & I are cc. We live in Canada and the wait for a newborn is terribly long here regardless of what race you are open to adopting. We are starting to look at agencies in the USA that will help Canadians. Can anyone give me the name of any agencies that will help us. Please PM me or post.
 Also I did get some information from The Open Door Adoption Agency and maybe I am wrong but in reading it, the cost for an AA baby is less than if we were to adopt a caucasian or biracial infant, is that true?
Thank You, Jillian

HI Jillian - you might try contacting "Bevy" through this site (as a pm) she is a Canadian from BC that is in the processing of adopting an infant from an agency in Florida that almost exclusively deals with Canadians.
We also are Canadian and adopted two older American children.
God Bless and Good luck!
Jen
PS yes there are cost differences between cc programs, aa programs and even biracial programs. Sadly that is the reality of the American Adoption Market. The higher costs of the cc programs are IN THEORY used to subsidize the aa adoptions - however, they can charge higher costs for cc babies because people are willing to pay higher costs. VERY SAD!
