Please consider adding a section under the Adoptive Parents section for GBLT adoptive parents, much like there are sections for people based on their religion or ethnic background.
I know that this has been asked before (because I was the one asking! ;) ) but I thought I would put it out there again now that we have this great new format and other sections are being added as they are asked for.
Thanks! :)

Heather- ok, one more quick question and then I'll drop it...
Do the same people own Adoption Media LLC and Parent Profiles LLC? Because according to the "about us" pages on the two websites, the companies are located in the same town... heck, even the same building.
I guess my point is -- yes, there may be two companies, but if they're owned by the same people then it's likely that both companies share the same value structure, and Parent Profiles openly discriminates against GLBT people, unmarried opposite sex couples and single parents in their business practices.
Hmmm, to be honest with you, I don't know any more than Crick does about who owns what, and I am not even certain that the same folks own both companies, though it sure seems that they do........... Sorry to not be of more help, I hate sounding so clueless. I will see what I can find out and let you know!

Binyasa - no worries...all mods can try to answer and respond - it's a group effort!:)
I'm not sure if the ownership is an individual, group of individuals etc. True North may be the same owner of both, but who is in charge and responsible for what "sub" company etc., I really don't have an answer for that.
I did want to address a question that has been asked by several people. Hopefully it might explain a bit more.
The questions asked "why are other forums are allowed to exist despite some heated debates etc."
When the G&L debate forum existed, it was nothing BUT hostile. It was hostile to the point where NO threads were able to stay open because they got to the point where they were all started with ill intent. It wasn't 1-2 people coming in saying hostile things, rather all the threads consisted of a lot of people bashing. Led to a lot of people being banned every day and it was just horrible.(according to those who remember it. I wasn't moderating then)
Yes...we moderate the heated threads, delete, edit, and ban. But in all honesty...MOST of the time the forums consist of people who respectfully post their opinions, debate and what have you. It's the norm rather than not. Yes, we have had threads closed, but how many threads stay open? We have banned people, but it's not usually a daily practice. That's the difference I think between the previous G&L Debate Forum and what we see, argue against etc. now. The hostility and acts that followed were the norm on that forum, which isn't conducive to the positive environment we wish to have here.
I'm not saying I agree that it would happen again...just saying what the difference was/is because so many of you have asked.

We just spent our first Thanksgiving together with my side of the family. Our boys met a bunch (over 35) new relatives. It was amazing the level of support that we have from my family (and DP's just for the record). Even the boys' great grandparents were so proud of their new grand sons. The boys did great with handling so much being thrown at them. This on top of logging over 2400 miles in just over a week. They were by far the best behaved little kids of the horde.
