I am searching for either my bmother or bfather. I was born on June 26, 1973 at Charity Hospital, I believe the doctors name was R.C. Mitral, and I think my bmother named me Sissy. I was placed by Children's Bureau of New Orleans and my adoption was finalized on March 15, 1974.
I have been registered with the Louisiana Registry for two years now and I haven't heard anything. If any of this information sounds familiar or if anyone has any ideas for me, please let me know.
Thank You. Kristin

Yes, that's were I had to get most of my information. My adoptive mom passed away when I was ten and my adoptive father passed away when I was 14, so I am just trying to get information anywhere I can. My adoptive mother did know the name of my birth mother but I was too young when she passed away and I never brought it up to my dad.
I have put my name in the registry but I don't know of any other ways to try and look for them. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
