Adoption only to childless parents??

Grobi, This USED to be the rule, under the new laws, it is no longer the case. Be sure that you research Bulgaria carefully before proceeding. We have been working to adopt our daughter for over 2 years now. The laws have changed and how they match children to adoptive parents is different than many countries. There are not many children actually in the registry, in Bulgaria, to be adopted under their new laws. There have only been approximately 29 visas to children to come to the states from Bulgaria in 2005. This shows that the process is slow and difficult compared to some of the other countries.
