i am in search of birth parents infomation, i was born in new orleans la. and adopted through voa. i have no information at all on anything else . any help would be great thanks in advance ........

i dont have any information about my real parents at all nothing my birth cert, just states my adopted parents thats about it and that i was born in new orleans la

Oh, the Search guru has a post listing louisiana resources, there you can find out how to get non ID info (I assume some office in Baton Rouge).

Non ID info will give you - non identifying info on your birth parents/ mother. No names but descriptions, maybe some medical, etc. It's a start.

Keep in touch and I can offer you advice and support through your journey.

You can also register with [url]www.isrr.net[/url] and when you get the nonID info you can add to your file (I think). They are a free registry for searching.

Louisiana has a Mutual Consent Registry, you may put yourself on it if you are 25 yo or older.
