New and looking for info re: agencies in MD

Hello, we are looking for agencies. We already attended a meeting at Adoptions Together. We would like to know if there someone in this forum who have worked with them and can share with us their experience.

Hi I cannot reccomend an agency.. but we live in MD and did an independant adoption. I woul dbe happy to recommend a GREAT adoption attorney or be here for someone to talk to.

We used two agencies. One in MD for the homestudy and then one in GA for the actual placement.

I did an international adoption and used America World Child [url]www.awaa.org[/url] for the home study. They were not the cheapest place, but they did a good job, and were nice about a lot of things that came up. They are in VA but can do Maryland. For an International adoption in Maryland, you have to do a lot, Baltimore City is very hard to deal with. There are a lot of requirements. Hang in there, my daughter is the best thing I ever did. She is worth everything. Just get organized and start.
