Hi I adopted my little puddin' from Liberia! Any one adopting from Africa and debating which country...I would strongly suggest Liberia. Most of the children's parents died in the war and they are craving love.. I added a picture for you to see my preciouse little girl from liberia..

I am just starting the process of adopting a little girl from Liberia; however, my home study agency has expressed a great concern that I will not be seeing my child before she is escorted. I am going through American Families for African Adoptions. Can anyone shed light on this concern or give me advice?

I would love to hear how everyone's children are doing! My heart is aching for this country! Just doing research right now. Part of me would not want to go there because of shots needed, Medical too, have asthma-(will I be okay, without air?)
But at the same time, I would want to bring as many suitcases as I could, so I could pack tons of stuff to keep there, at the orphanages.
Just looking at your children's faces, I have tears in my eyes! This is so odd, because Africa is the last place I would think I would want to adopt from. I have even looked up "other" countries already. But gosh, there is something special about this place!
Okay, i'm starting to ramble! Can't wait to hear from you again,
Kerri

We adopted our son Garblejay in 2005 from Monrovia , Liberia . He has a younger sister that was adopted out as well. We have no idea where she ended up. She probablyWas adopted out a few years later . Also a cousin named Prince - was said to live in Wisconsin . Has anyone had any luck connecting with families who siblings are somewhere else ?
