I have the Attorneys names who handled the adoption, although I don't think they practice law anymore, I google searched them.
I have the case number. The name of the Judge that did it and the finalized date.
I have the hospital name. I have the agency.
I know my birth name.
So what do you think I should do next.
I would go to the city/county where you were born and search the birth announcements in the newspaper archives on microfilm at the library. Get the name of everyone who gave birth that day, and take it from there. Good luck in your search.

You can also check the city directories (not phone books) for that surname in the town for a few years before and after you were born. The city directories will list occupations so if you have an idea of her work you can look for her that way too.

go to the city you were born in and find the vital records dept and give them your birth name. Don't tell them you are adopted unless they ask you. Adoptions in georgia are suppose to be in a sealed vault so technically they can't give it to you without you petitioning the court where the adoption took place ; but sometimes they forget to ask "are you an adoptee".
What if you're not in that city?
I'm not anywhere near the state I was born in, and it's far too far to go. Can someone else do it for me (assuming I could actually find someone else)?
