I was adopted from Lutheran Social Services in Minnesota in 1969, too! Born May 8th in Henepin County. I am currently trying to find my birth family - started a search with LSS, and it cost $750.00 because my Birth Mother did not update her records (my adoptive parents asked that I go through LSS because they thought that was the "right way to do it" when I told them I was going to search).
