Hello, Today we received a letter giving us instructions to call to make the appointment with the Baltimore County/Department of Health for the inspection. They sent us a checklist, but we would like to know what else we should know and worry before they come home. Tomorrow I'll do the appointment, please let us know your comments.

They will be checking to amke sure that you have enough smoke dectetors, and fire ext. that you have all the medications and cleaning supplies secured.
they will also check the size of the rooms and the water temperature etc. otherwise they will check for basics like running water, heat, etc..

i dont know if bmore checks on pets and firearms, but montgomery does, as well as having escape ladder if childs bedroom will be on the 2nd floor.
