God is Good

[font=Times New Roman]God is Good[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]When I found true love,[/font][font=Times New Roman]For the first time,[/font][font=Times New Roman]I wept and thought to myself,[/font][font=Times New Roman]God is good.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]When I lost true love,[/font][font=Times New Roman]For the first time,[/font][font=Times New Roman]I thought to myself,[/font][font=Times New Roman]How could you do this, God?[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Then I found true love again,[/font][font=Times New Roman]This time unconditional love,[/font][font=Times New Roman]In my daughters eyes,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Again I wept and thought,[/font][font=Times New Roman]God is good.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Then I felt as if I lost[/font][font=Times New Roman]My true love again,[/font][font=Times New Roman]When I placed my daughter,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Walked away from her,[/font][font=Times New Roman]And I thought again[/font][font=Times New Roman]How could you do this, God?[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Then I found true love again,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Even deeper, unconditional love,[/font][font=Times New Roman]In my second daughterҒs eyes,[/font][font=Times New Roman]So, I wept and thought this time,[/font][font=Times New Roman]God is so very good.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Then I felt as if I lost[/font][font=Times New Roman]My true love yet again,[/font][font=Times New Roman]When I placed my second daughter,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Walked away from her,[/font][font=Times New Roman]And thought again,[/font][font=Times New Roman]How could you do this, God?[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]But then, things changed,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Somehow the world,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Which had always been the same,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Became a whole new, better one[/font][font=Times New Roman]And I thought again,[/font][font=Times New Roman]God is so very good.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Then I waited for[/font][font=Times New Roman]Something bad[/font][font=Times New Roman]To cause me to say again[/font][font=Times New Roman]How could you do this, God?[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]But it did not happen?[/font][font=Times New Roman]It still hasnt happened.[/font][font=Times New Roman]And now I know,[/font][font=Times New Roman]It wonҒt happen again.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Somehow, I know[/font][font=Times New Roman]That everything[/font][font=Times New Roman]Will be better now,[/font][font=Times New Roman]So much better.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]So, now each day,[/font][font=Times New Roman]I think to myself,[/font][font=Times New Roman]God is so very good[/font][font=Times New Roman]And always has been[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Written by Anne M.[/font]
