There is one Jackston, a man b. 1889, on the 1930 census, located in Ithaca (Tompkins cnty) listed, with native American heritage. He is listed as married (no wife listed on there), as as living on Genesee St Ithaca, and working in manufacturing/ automobile polisher. And there are also two people listed on the SSDI who died in Santa Clara county CA., (a man b. 7/15/1904, and a woman, b. 2/27/1904). Hope this is of some help.
