Hi everyone,
I submitted my EOI for international adoption to DOCS last week, and received a receipt from them on Monday.
Can anyone tell me how long it took from sending your EOI for "something" to happen? What can I expect next - more forms? Paperwork? Attend a course? Be interviewed?
And is there anything I need to prepare for? I figured that I'll have to give lots of information at some point, so I'm making a point of taking photos of "events" I am at, so I have a bunch of photos I can provide. I'm also helping my mum with the family tax so that I have up-to-date returns to provide if they need proof of income...
What else do you guys recommend?
Rebecca
Ah, I started this thread this morning. This afternoon I went out to get the mail, and there was a letter from DOCS.
The letter says that if my EOI makes it seem that I meet the criteria for intercountyr adoption, I'll be informed in writing of my eligibility to attend an Intercountry Adoption Preparation Seminar. It says I should hear this within two months.
Oooh!
