Time to say hi for the new year and touch base...
Posters or lurkers...

I'm remembering Russell Johnson "The Professor" from Gilligan's Island, who passed away today. I loved that show...
Why do we wait till they're gone to remember them? I ask myself every time this happens.
Kind regards,

I'm catching up on and enjoying Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I don't watch anything I can't watch with my kids, so I waited until I could be sure they were going to keep it reasonably clean before I tried it. Reasonably clean, very funny, a big heart, and for all the shenanigans a very moral center.

Hey Crabbylioness,
I had to google the show and it looks like it would be good to watch - from what I read it is not so much the law and order side as the relationships within the office in a light-hearted comedic setting? We usually watch the drama side for some reason - stuck in our ways perhaps?

I love the show. I started to watch because Andre Braugher is in it. (If you watch the drama side of cop shows, you probably watched NBC's Homocide, which he was in.)
It's a funny show.

Cracked is about a swat team member that suffers from PTSD and they put him with a psychiatric nurse in order to keep an eye on him. They respond to calls where there is any kind of potential mental health issue.
Same kind of format, in that the scenes are tight and the pace keeps you interested. Kind of looks at the issue from all angles. Meanwhile it also deals with this guy dealing with his issues.
