Am very frustrated - just found out our home study has been denied based on the fact that my husband and I both take medication. Even after our doctors have sent in statements that there is no reason we should not be able to adopt my neice and nephew. Does anyone know of a appeal process or a law stating that they can't do this?? The whole home study thing boggles me. See our house, talk to me for 15 minutes and fill out some papers and that's all you need to see that I am not fit to raise my own family members!! I already have 3 children with the same problems as the family I'm trying to adopt. the way I'm seeing it right now is if they don't think I can handle my neice and nephew they don't think I'm doing good with my own children. All that in 15 minutes!!!!I don't know what to do next!
