I'm back on my soapbox---again---more about
my family ! I have an Aunt Rosemary that has
an adopted daughter named Amy that she has
guilted into not looking for her birthmother and
Aunt Elaine that has guilted her adopted
daughter(Denise) into not looking for her birth
mother,aside from NOT having very important
medical info, my Aunts look at it as 'losing'
their daughters, instead of gaining a friendship
with the birthmother(s) ! I feel very sad that
my Aunts have such FEAR, and can't admit it !
I'm off my soapbox---now !

just jump on that soapbox anytime you need to, sorry your aunts feel such fear over birthmums, no sense in it, they having been the main people in their daughters life, sadly many are the same, it takes a good spirit and generous heart to let in bmums, which some do have, some dont and theyve to live with it, their mean spirit and theconsequences, for they are affecting the child also. good luck
