I am hoping to benefit from the experience of others.We will be able to finalize our adoption after December 19th. We live in UT and our children were in CA before being placed with us (for the specific purpose of the adoption). We want to finalize before the end of the year because it would be nice to start the new year off officially as a family forever.We have decided not to go back to CA, but have a lawyer here in UT to finalize for us. Does anyone think this will be done by the end of the year? We do have two full weeks to work with.We are asking about every week what we need to do before we can finalize, and have done everything the social worker has told us we need to do. Did anyone out there had a similar situation and run into snags?Thanks for any help.
