Florida health insurance options

My husband and I are trying to adopt independently (we have an adopted

son), and have a question about adopting from Florida.

If a birthmother doesn't have health insurance, can she get Medicare or Medicaid?

I believe that in the state of Washington where we live a birthmother

can apply for State's assistance if she doesn't have any insurance. I'm

wondering if this applies in every state or if it depends on the

state. Do they have any other health care options available in

Florida?
