In light of the recent increase in Agency Discussion Guideline violations and the amount of time it is taking us to monitor the forums to make sure everyone is following the rules, weve adopted a new policy regarding ADG violations.
From this point forward, members who violate the Agency Discussion Guideline will be immediately placed on a 24-hour break, rather than reminded. Clearly, the reminders arenҒt working so we hope that doing this will help people remember that Agency Discussions belong in PM and are NOT to be mentioned in ANY post.
As a side note, members who create a second ID to come back with while on a 24 hour break will be permanently banned from the site.
I hope that this ֓final reminder serves as all the reminder our members need and we see a drastic reduction in the number of violations across the forums.
IԒd be happy to answer any questions, so feel free to post them.
Hi... I'm new here, I hope that I've not violated the rules because I have asked about agencies and facilitators as I'm trying to choose. I do have a question. Are we allowed to mention the name of an agency or facilitator to ask others to PM us.... As long as we do not say anything positive or negative? Want to be sure so that I can follow the rules... Thanks.

Hi - Yes, you can say "I am looking into XYZ agency, if folks with experience could please PM me." But actual discussion of the agency "I hear XYZ agency is really great and has super-short waiting times on referrals..." isn't allowed.
Hope this helps clear it up for you. :)
Good luck to you in your adoption journey!
The Agency Discussion Guideline, posted at the top of every forum, answers the question specifically.
But yes, making posts like, "I am looking for feedback on XYZ Agency in Denver CO" is fine.
Someone posting, "I used XYZ and they were lousy/wonderful" is not.
So yes, members can continue to ask for feedback, but all feedback given must by done via PM :)

Hi Brandy,
Can you point me in the right direction to review the Agency Discussion Guidelines? I saw a bullet on the Forum Rules, is there anything anywhere else that I can read?
Thanks!

The Agency Discussion Guidelines can be seen at the top of EVERY forum, in the announcement section.
Just so everyone knows :)
Bump - we're still seeing a lot of this and members are being banned for violating - especially when they know they are doing so.
