1. At the top right, click Quick LinksӔ and on the drop down menu choose Edit SignatureӔ 2. In the white space, the word processor, provided you will type your closing that will be used on each of your posts. For Example. Promoting Adoption Everywhere, John Smith 3. Now if you just left it at that it would be OK but very plain and would do nothing for your blog or adoptionblogs.com in general therefore 4. Underneath your name you could type something such as Promoting Adoption Everywhere, John Smith YourAdoptionBlogName ŖWriter 5. This obviously identifies you as a writer of a blog but how can the reader get there? You need a link. a. Highlight the name of your blog (above I would highlight YourAdoptionBlogName) b. Now click the icon in the toolbar that looks like a globe with a paperclip on it (when you hover over it with your mouse it will say Insert LinkӔ). c. Upon clicking you will receive a box that asks for a web address d. Type in the address of your blog and click OK e. Now your signature will look like this Promoting Adoption Everywhere, John Smith YourAdoptionBlogName Writer 6. On my signature I added that the blogs were started by Adoption Media in order to gain credibility with the reader. I added a couple links to promote adoption.com and adoptionblogs in general. When I finished my signature looked like this

Well, here goes Moose, lets see what changes I was able to make! now if you'll explain the RSS/syndication, how can I track yours and other blogs without going into each blog, i.e. how I can subscribe? ...Wait a minute, I have a wonderful home in the Colorado Mountains with a HOT TUB. Can I compete with an Island Holiday?

an island holiday followed by a snowed in weekend in Colorado. Now thats the life. All I have to offer back is some North Carolina basketball and Barbeque :DAnyway, my guess is that it should generally be the same for Macs because it is edited on the web and not in the computer itself. I think you've got it!Also, in order to see the RSS feeds from other blogs. Let me suggest using the Active Web Reader 2.40. This looks very similar to an email program (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) except that it access many blogs at the same time. It is one of the simpler programs available and it is free! The above link will take you to an article about this Reader on about.com. From there you can follow links to the site or you can go directly there by clicking here. You can download the Reader from the top link of their site.Download and install the Web Reader. You will see a number of RSS feeds already installed. You can create your own folder called "Adoption Blogs" and put all of the blogs you want under that folder. Then you will be able to read the blogs from here. Each time a new entry is written, your reader will download it. If you need more help regarding this, let me know.

Whew! Well, I'm pretty computer savvy usually, but I feel out in the cold on this one.. (well, it IS 10 Degress here today - but sunny)...Ok, I'll wait a few days. write some blogs this weekend to take me through the week and then tackle this rss stuff later. Moose, I went to your home site. nice.
Ah, yes. Aren't you in Burlington? My daughter was married there at the country club ... can't recall the name, but it's quite a ritzy place ... (had a pig pickin' for the rehersal dinner) and she has loads of in-laws there. My granddaughter spends time with her other grandmother there and I've passed a few weeks in the area myself. My daughter's husband's family also has a lovely house at a lake not too far away, but not one that I can remember the name of. It's a dammed place with really warm water. Does that ring a bell?
I think if I had to live in the States again North Carolina would be my first choice of locations. It's such a pretty place, and oddly interesting.
