Hi,
I am expecting my third son in three months and I am just floating around ideas for names right now.
My other two sons are (first name, middle name, age):
Madison Kendall (10)
Ashley Campbell (7)
so you can see I much prefer "unisex" names.
I've been giving a lot of thought to my third child since I found out he is a boy. I still want to go with the unisex/non-traditional route, but so many of the popular unisex names are now being adopted by girls, I am actually really wanting to almost reverse the trend and take a less commonly used girls name and use it for my son. One idea I have is Fallon, another might be Darcy. Although I have been giving a lot of thought to both Chelsea and Britney of late (but I am going against Britney as being too feminine now, for some reason Chelsea seems to work).
As both my other children have hard ka sounds for their middle names I would like to stick with that idea too. I was thinking Kayla for example.
Any ideas or suggestions?
This was my list from before today and I have just added Cameron and Dakota.
Chelsea
britney
amber
alexandra
fallon
kayla
lara/lana
kristen
shannon
lea/leah
leigh
kendra
savannah
summer
skye/skylar
tasha
lacy
darcy
Cameron
Dakota
Thanks
Melissa

I quite like Schuyler, Darcy, Cameron, and Reese. Fallon is my favorite name for a little girl but first instinct for me is far too feminine and I tend to agree with coopspa & jasonsmom's thoughts on more simplistic names.
If you like the hard 'K' sound, why not Callum or Callen? I know both boys and girls with this name under various spellings.
I have also heard of Catlin (not Caitlin) for a boy.
I have always liked Madison for a boy. I know lots of girls that are named Madison but the very frist time I ever heard it was in 1985 and it was a boys name I had a crush on. His name was Madison Brooks Albright. I also like Morgan. My cousin has a son named Ellison, Ellis for short.

My dh has a unisex name- Tracy- and he also hates it.
If you want to go with something more unisex then I like Avery or Cameron because those fall right in the middle and don't lean more towards the feminine side.
When we were thinking of names my husband actually thought of anyway it could be made fun of (ie: when I threw out Ducan he said Dunkin Donuts)
Regards,
Brandy
My dh's middle name is Lynn and he hates it!!
But here are some other ideas for you
Skylar Cadence
Reese Cameron
Riley Camden
Faron Kyle
Tristan Casey
Andreas Keel
Dante Courtland
Breck Kagan
Just a few off the top of my head...goodluck.

I know a Wren/Ren and a Bryn (and also a girl Brynne) and Britt (I think someone mentioned that already ) - it's closer to our Brittany (which I cannot stand now, thanks to Britney Spears (biting my tongue not to add rude comments about her!)
