I'm actually testing a blog software right now that's pretty amazing...but I thought I should get user feedback also :)

I'm assuming the more blog-like functions have the ability to comment which will be a selling point for some and a non-selling-point for others.

It's an option - yes.
So is posting photos...
Having a personal page...
Having colaboration pages (in which others can participate)
Creating polls...
It's pretty nifty...

Well, I use the journal, but I've also used blogs before too. My question would be, if we switched to the blog option, would we lose everything we've written in our journals unless we copied or printed out our journals that is.

We haven't determined that yet...
We're still in the testing/coding phase to even see if this is an option for us - it gives the member a lot more options...
This is something we would know before we did it - and if we can't, it may even be a deal breaker for *this* program.
