I knew Carson when she was about 4 years old. I was an emergency foster care parent in Norman and took care of her for a week or two around Christmas time, and then the same time the following year. Carson and my daughter were the same age and I was very fond of her. When I inquired about adoption, I was told that it was best if she was adopted outside of Cleveland County. Every year at Christmas time, I've said a prayer for her since that is when my family met her those two years we cared for her around Christmas. I've always wondered what happened to her.

Hi,My name is Melinda McCarthy. My son is Carson's half brother. He has tried looking for her but has never had any luck. He is an only child and would love to meet her. Carson's father died about 5 years ago. Her brother is a awsome young man and if she would ever like to meet him please let me know.
This IS Carson. I had no idea anyone was looking for me. I was not told by my adoptive dad that any kind of contact was made. This is all very new and overwhelming. Its very sad to learn both of my birth parents are dead. I'm excited to learn I have a half brother. And touched beyond belief to learn of the foster parent that never forgot me, and the Aunts that kept trying to find me. I will need some time to sort through things and ask that everyone respects my privacy, as I will do the same. Please feel free to respond to me through here for now. You can ask questions but I may not answer. I would like to know more if anyone feels comfortable giving me more info.
