Hello all!
I wanted to let you all know that we received a call from our agency this morning. It seems they have a referral for us! We will receive all the information on Monday! I will keep you posted, I know nothing more. We did state that we would consider minor correctable health issues. We were registered with MOJ last June 05'.
Please pray for us and this referral!

Maria, I had heard this week that I also received a referral. I have been waiting on pins and needles for the details. This would also be a special needs child. At least your message gave me some insight - I will have to wait for Monday!

Maria, I hope it goes well. I've been waiting almost three weeks. It's so hard to wait! My sw said I'm the only one being considered for these twins. The asw was sick for a few days so nothing happened. Then she told my sw that the kid's sw was moving very slow because the kid's are happy w/ their fp (not adopting). asw said kid's sw worker is just lazy (I think overworked?). The kids have been in Foster care for more than a year! FR (I don't know what that is) services were termanated last month. Their TPR is set for this summer. Debby

I'm glad to see some movement with the Bulgaria program. We ended up switching last summer to Guatemala. We thought we would be bringing our son home in Jan/Feb but we are caught up in a mess in Guatemala right now. We are traveling next week for our second visit. Good luck to everyone waiting!!

It was a couple of days from the official notification until I received the information.

I was just wondering how your referrals went. Kay, I think I remember that you were going on your first trip around Easter weekend. Did everything go ok for you? Just checking in with both of you to see how things are going.

Angie, I got back a week ago. My future daughter is a wonderful 3.5 year old. I hope to bring her home in July. :clap:
While I was there, there was a couple adopting a 2 year old girl and another adopting a toddler boy. All the children are special needs.
