I am in search of my half-brother who my mother put up for adoption when she was 16. My mother (Sharon Dumma at the time) named him Shaun Michael and he was born October 5th, 1977 at Edmonton General Hospital. He was 7 pounds. He was adopted by a Protestant family in an urban area of Alberta. If anyone can provide any information to his whereabouts, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
Is your mom in acceptance of finding your brother?
If so, she can fill out the forms to apply for the open records of the child that was given up for adoption, and, provided a veto has not been filed by the other party, then the documents would disclose the adoptive name.

If the link doesn't work, google
"Post adoption registry Alberta"
