need help

does anyone know how to look for a military member that use to be in the navy in 1986. i only have a name and just were he was stationed in 86 and in 87 but no units.. i dont know what state either...

if anyone knows of a website or any way to search.. please let me know..

omg that would be awesome.. his name is robert young (bobby) in 1986 he was at ntc san diego at some kind of school and then in 1987 he went to san fransico.. that is all the info i have...

thank you so much.. i really appreciate it.. i just wanted to find him so he can see his daughter's picture.. i have found her but she doesnt want anything to do with me but she wanted info on her bio dad as she told my friend that.. so any info you find it would be awesome.. i just cant remember where he was from. maybe nj not sure though.. but again thank you...
