yes i just learned about him and also found out he past...he did my adoption in 1980 and my papers r all in spanish done in mexico but was born in Fl...just wondering if anyone else has this prob thru Stanley?? I am currently in a search for my birth mom

I'm a birth mom, he handled the adoption. My daughter was born at Nyack hospital April 6 1986 but they flew me to San Antonio TX to finalize the paperwork. I can not find my daughter.
He might have lied to you.
and just put the adoptive parents names on the cert.

Could you please help me? I'm trying to find my brother who was born in 1980 in NY. I've been trying to find him for 2 years. I don't have much information to go by but any help would be appreciated.

Me too. He handled he was my attorney as well as the attorney for the adoptive parents. I never got any of the paper work that I should have gotten. So I have been blowing in the wind on trying to find my daughter. I have started a facebook page for those had him as their attorney. NY state information registry will let you sign up if you are born in another state and adopted in NY. So the parents too now can sign up if they think their child was adopted in ny state.

You can sign up with NY state registry now. they changed the laws. Adoptees born or adopted in ny state can sign up with NY state registry.

Hi, Since Adoptees born or adopted in NY state can sign up on the NY state registry, So can siblings, if their sibling was born or adopted in NY state. Parents too.
