question about canadian citzenship

Hi in the process of adopting from Dominican Republic.

I have a question for any Canadians who have adopted internationally. How long does it take once you are home and apply for Canadian Citzenship for the child?

They try to do it as quick as possible - i think it took us about 2-3 months, if i remember right. How is your adoption going?
