In 2004 it took us 7 weeks to get approved. In 2006 we were approved in 3 weeks at that was first of August.
I know someone who was approved in 3 weeks in Sept. Someone else who was approved in 4 weeks in October.
Someone else who just got there approval yesterday. His fingerprints were done Nov.28 and he received the approval in the mail on Dec. 11. So, just shy of two weeks!!!! Unbelievable.
All of this is through the Cleveland Office and the times are when fingerprints and homestudy are all turned in.
Good Luck. Hope you don't have to wait long.
We are going through our second I171H (we're still waiting for referral so our first approval will expire soon). The first one was very quick. From the time they received our homestudy it was about 3 weeks 4 days. We were refingerprinted in Sept. and received approval in Oct. We are sending in a new I600A as soon as we receive the updated homestudy so they can both be sent together. We don't have to be refingerprinted. Here's hoping this one goes as fast!
