:o HI our names are Dave and Amie. We have been married for two years and we have a 14 month old daughter who adopted last Dec:cheer:We have had Amelia since birth since she was eight weeks early. We live in Ind. I am a stay at home mom. We are looking to adopt again but dont care to go through an agencey since they are expensive but what ever GOD has planned for us we will do. Welcome to a fellow Hoosier! Some of us pop in once in a while on the General State adoptive parent board (there's no longer a specific one for Indiana). We adopted last fall through St Elizabeth-Coleman (the Catholic Charities agency in Indy). I'm all for adopting #2, hubby will need some convincing. Our son is only 10 months old, so we're not ready to add a sibling yet, but a little worried about waiting too long, due starting a little late the first time. So far, we're just enjoying #1 immensely and loving every minute of it! Good luck!

Welcome from another Hoosier from the southern part of the state. We have a precious 5 month old boy thru agency adoption. Would love to do it again, but its likely that our agency will tell us we are too old, since dh just celebrated his 40th (theyre very blunt about such things...). also the expense...
Anyway--enjoy the forums, you'll make lots of friends here and learn a lot, too.
